Drivers, you might have your race setup figured out... but are you ready for Abby’s questions?
We’re welcoming Why So Serious Interviews as Special Guest Media on Friday, October 30th, for Halloweenfest: Night of Horror at Portsmouth Raceway Park!
Born and raised in Cincinnati, 12-year-old Abby has already gotten her hands dirty in this sport. Her interest in racing started in 2022 while her mom and dad worked for a Super Late Model car owner. Helping wash the car turned into working on tires, and eventually tearing down and rebuilding an entire Late Model.
After spending time on two different pit crews, Abby and her family decided to pursue interviews. Now she’s putting that racing knowledge and curiosity to work getting to know the people behind the wheel.
Her favorite part? Stumping whoever she’s interviewing. Consider that your heads-up, drivers 😂
She’s got ambitions on both sides of the microphone, too. Abby hopes to work with FloRacing when she’s old enough, and she’d love to race a Late Model herself someday. Right now, she’s saving for a Crown Vic to get her driving career started.
And when racing isn’t keeping her busy, her bunnies get their share of the attention!
This invitation means something extra to me personally. Before I started A Moment With Mengsk, I was a fan who could get intimidated just thinking about walking up and talking to a driver. Watching Abby go out there and do it helped me think, “Well, if she can give it a shot, so can I.”
She was one of the reasons I took that first step. Getting to welcome her to the riverbank now is pretty dang cool.
Give Why So Serious Interviews a follow, check out her work, and help us give Abby and her family a big PRP welcome Friday!
