We all know the orange barrels are out, and that means gravel trucks are out too. When you are cruising down the highway, maintaining a safe following distance is your number one defense against a ruined morning.

A good rule of thumb is to give yourself at least three to four seconds of space between your vehicle and any large truck. If you can see the gravel shifting in the back of the bed, you are definitely too close.
