In Loving Memory of Lucille Marie Uptmore 1927 – 2026

It is with heavy hearts that the Uptmore family shares the passing of Lucille Uptmore, age 98, of West, who went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 27, 2026.
Alongside her husband, Ernest "Big Ern" Uptmore, Lucille helped build and grow Uptmore Motors into what it is today. For decades she kept the books and kept this family business running — a steady hand, a sharp mind, and the heart of everything we are. Her legacy is woven into every part of who we are today.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 3rd, at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, with burial to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.

In her memory, Uptmore Motors will be CLOSED:
🕊️ Friday, July 3rd — for the funeral
🇺🇸 Saturday, July 4th — for Independence Day

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the West Volunteer Ambulance Association.
