This pulley was locked up. Taking a close look, the missing bearings are definitely contributing to the fault here. Off with the old, on with the new, and we can keep this older car on the road for a few more years.

Boats are made for the water, and we do not work on them. But, they ride on a trailer and get pulled behind a truck to get to and from the lake. Trucks and boat trailers...we do those.

Tim came down from the Northwoods this morning for a little maintenance on the aforementioned truck and trailer.

I'd say it was definitely time for some new rubber. Thanks for making the trip down, so we could get your rig back up to 100% for the fall bite.

Those new Goodyear tires will keep you safely running down the road to the next hot spot.

Look closely, and you'll see that the old vacuum pump is in pretty rough shape. This vehicle came in with a "poor brake assist" concern. We determined that there was no vacuum being applied to the brake booster.

Upon removal of the vacuum pump, it became clear why there was no output...the pump was physically damaged.

We extracted the debris from the engine, and replaced the pump. Braking effort has been restored to an acceptable level, and all is well.
