Metal in transmission fluid is never a good sign. ⚙️

Remember the Honda Fit with multiple transmission complaints?
During further inspection, we drained the transmission fluid and discovered a significant amount of metal particles.

This indicates serious internal transmission wear. At this point, simply changing the fluid won't solve the problem.

Based on our findings, we're recommending a transmission replacement.

Sometimes the fluid tells you more than any warning light can.

One Honda Fit, several problems to solve. 🔧

This Honda Fit came into our shop with multiple complaints.

The driver noticed unusual noise when operating the clutch and a lack of acceleration, especially at higher speeds and when driving uphill.

During our inspection, we discovered that both front brake calipers were seized, causing the brakes to drag and making it harder for the vehicle to move freely.

We're also removing the transmission to investigate the clutch noise and inspect the fifth-gear synchronizer.

Different symptoms, different problems — and each one needs proper attention.

When the RPM goes up but the car doesn’t… that’s a bad sign. 😬

This Chevy Tahoe came in because the transmission would sometimes stop shifting properly and the vehicle would lose acceleration — the engine would rev, but the Tahoe wouldn’t move as it should.

After removing the transmission pan, the problem became pretty clear: metal debris was collected inside. At this point, the transmission has significant internal damage.

Now the customer has a couple of options — rebuild the transmission or replace it with a used unit.

And one important detail: the trouble codes had been cleared before the vehicle came to us. Those codes can give technicians valuable information during diagnosis, so it’s better to leave them there until the problem is checked.

Sometimes the problem isn’t the entire system — it’s one broken connection.

This Mercedes ML 250 came in with an issue in the DEF system. There was no pressure, so we removed the DEF tank to find out why.

The problem became clear: the connection at the DEF fluid pump was completely broken. Instead of building pressure and sending DEF through the system, the fluid was simply leaking and spraying out.

In this case, the pump needs to be replaced. Then everything can be reassembled and the system tested again.

A good example of why proper diagnosis comes before replacing parts.

That loud noise from the rear had a clear cause. 🔧

This 2021 Toyota Sienna came in with a loud noise from the back, especially when stopping or braking hard.

During inspection, we found the rear differential bushings had failed — the rubber had separated from the metal, allowing the differential to move when it shouldn’t.

That movement explains the noise the customer was hearing.

Unusual clunks when accelerating, braking, or coming to a stop? It’s worth getting them checked.
