Before the color ever hits the gun, Bob spends endless hours prepping the vehicle just to get the metal laser-straight. It requires a relentless cycle of priming, hand-blocking, and priming again. Bob typically primes and hand block sands a vehicle atleast two to three separate times just to have a perfect, wave-free foundation. He does everything by hand so that he can feel any imperfections before he lays color down.
And even when the paint finally goes down, the job is still only halfway to the finish line! 🏁
