We're hiring Box Truck Drivers at Road Tested Parts - Bessler in Wilder, KY, and we have several positions to fill.
This position has a retention bonus of up to $3,500 - ask us how it works.
This is route work. You'll run a pre-planned route delivering parts to our customers, which makes you the person they actually see. Getting there on time matters. So does how the stop goes.
What the job involves:
- Running a pre-planned route, delivering parts to customer locations
- Loading and unloading, with lifting up to 50 lbs; equipment is there for anything heavier
- Keeping delivery records straight, including mileage, fuel and delivery confirmations
- Staying in contact with dispatch, the sales team and customers about timing and delays
- Routine vehicle inspections, and flagging anything that needs attention
What you'll need:
- A valid driver's license and a clean Motor Vehicle Record: no suspensions, no driving under the influence, and fewer than three traffic violations in the last three to seven years
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and obtain a DOT medical card
Helpful, but not required: experience with GPS and route planning software, previous customer-facing work, and knowing the local roads.
