Today I finally got the chance to try out the new TopDon One Lite scan tool and let me tell you it did not disappoint!! 😁

It made quick and easy work diagnosing a bad MAF sensor as well as an intermittent failing Crank Position Sensor. The client had complained about hard and loooong starts and when it did start it would spit and sputter. Using the live data function I was able to diagnose that it was losing crank signal at the same time as the engine started to bog and sputter. Regarding the MAF sensor it wasn’t ready IAT which tells me the MAF isn’t gathering the correct data to adjust air/fuel mixture.

I’m beyond happy with this product so far and will be looking forward to using it more!!! 🔩🛠️🧰

Does anyone else check spark plug gap?

Today we are replacing spark plugs on a 2014 Ford Edge. Not a terribly labor-intensive job however intake piping, intake manifold, coolant lines, and harness's must be removed before the install!
