I simply can’t say enough about starting a new business relationship with a bank built by small businesses, understands small businesses, visits small businesses in person, plans and partners with small businesses to help them grow AND knows your name, shakes your hand and looks you eye to eye when you walk in? I feel like it’s 1970 again and experiencing banking the way it should be. Thank you Community Bank Delaware.

Why You Never Give Up.
Just a quick mention on my once lead auto tech in Millsboro, Matt. I talked about his story prior and how he lost his leg in an accident, went through two years of hell trying to save it then going through rehab. There was no way to have him in the service bay and his attempt at service writing proved too much for him due to the stationary conditions that role has.

So with the help of a very good friend of mine and President of Donate Delaware, who's mission is to supply medical equipment and supplies to those with need, Matt and I are launching, "Matt's Wheelchair Rescue" as a small business that will work on behalf of the non-profit, where Matt will be using his skills to recondition the various types of motorized chairs so they can be put back in service.

The young man that I had sought out to run an auto shop is now in charge of running a mobility shop. He said to me, "I think I found my calling". No, he just didn't give up and before he knew it, "got called". He will use his own nightmarish experience to assist others that have traveled the same path. He is super excited and we're starting off with 23 chairs to repair.

Never think you can't do something. Never give up. Never think you can't help because we're all in this together.

Who knew! I guess you can add “Motorized Wheelchair Tech” to my resume! Helping out Donate Delaware recondition these chairs that will go out to people in need. Really cool way to support an awesome foundation.

So... . Steve Bullins did a thing a yesterday for Special Olympics Delaware (SODE). He went "Over The Edge" down 17 stories to raise funds and bring awareness to SODE. This was AWESOME!
