Congratulations, Matt!
All of us at the Laurel Auto Group are incredibly proud and excited to congratulate our President, Matt Smith, on his nomination for the prestigious 2027 TIME Dealer of the Year Award!
Matt was selected to represent the Pennsylvania Automotive Association in the national competition and is one of just 48 dealers nationwide nominated for this distinguished honor from more than 20,000 new-car dealers across the country.
For Matt, this recognition represents much more than success in the automotive industry. From growing up around the dealership his father, Mike Smith, founded in 1984 to becoming President of the Laurel Auto Group in 2019, Matt has continued to build upon a legacy rooted in hard work, strong relationships, and giving back to the communities we call home.
His commitment to organizations throughout our region, including the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies, Junior Achievement of Southwest Pennsylvania, the Miracle League at Roxbury Park, the Ann Harris Smith Foundation, and many others, reflects the kind of leadership we are fortunate to see every day.

The TIME Dealer of the Year program honors new-car dealers in America who demonstrate exceptional performance in their dealerships while also providing distinguished service to their
communities. Dealers are nominated by members of the Automotive Trade Association Executives (ATAE), with the national winner recognized during the annual NADA Show.
The 2027 TIME Dealer of the Year Award will be presented on February 19, 2027, during the NADA Show in Orlando, Florida.
