If you call my shop looking for updates on a carburetor that I’ve had less than a month, IT’S NOT DONE. I’ll call you if there are problems, I’ll call you when it’s finished.

there are over 80 carbs on my shelves waiting to be serviced. I’m in my shop working 7 days a week and i am physically making parts for the obsolete carburetors that I restore. I’m sorry I’m not a big shop with 20 employees but I’m sure everybody wants their pieces back yesterday so they can go play in the dirt.

Believe me I’d love to be out playing in the mud too but….. I’m working, I need to leave calls going to voicemails unless I’m sitting at my desk. Believe me I’m not on vacation with your carburetor just sitting and collecting dust.

Each carburetor gets serviced in order that it comes in. If it’s been a month it’s because I’m easily really 3 months behind with work.
Everybody wants their work yesterday I hear

Thank you for your patience! I appreciate the patient ones. But calling me weekly for an update takes me away from my work bench and it takes longer to get the work done. Some carburetor shops are a year to 18 months behind…. The good ones are. And I’m getting more behind everyday! One carburetor at a time gets them done

Remember poor planning on your part done not constitute an emergency on mine… if it’s haying season or harvest I’ll work with you but….. it’s April…

Final day at the Gathering of The Green in Davenport Iowa. Headed back to Minnesota with a trailer full of carburetors to rebuild and shop is filling up with boxes while I’m here. Going to be another busy summer
