It’s been a long time LaKe LoVeRs & Fisherman!!

I’m so excited about re-opening Elm creek Bait Shop that will be located in Abilene. Lotsa places to fish around here & the surrounding areas. We’re wanting to be OpeN this Memorial Day weekend so stay tuned for more updates this week.

We look forward to providing great customer services, flexible hours, and quality LiVe BaiT that will ensure a great fishing experience wherever you go for whatever you want to reel in! We appreciate our fishing buddies 🎣

I’ve been hearing that the Crappie are bitting out at Lake Ft. Phantom in Abilene if anyone looking for another good lake to try. And some good size keepers, too. Gonna have to check that out ourselves this weekend. We aren’t selling Live BaiT yet, but maybe in time for next year’s Crappie season. You never know, everyday is a new day!

Well, it’s been awhile lake lovers & fisherman, but I do miss everyone. Hope it’s been a great start to the New Year for you & that your fishing has been plentiful 🎣🐟

Looks like we’ve been getting some pretty good rain lately LaKe LoVeRs, Fishermen, n Women! 🌧️🌧️

But we’re coming to you with a short notice that Mike n I have left Lake Winters & closed the bait shop. It was a very difficult decision to make and unfortunately, we decided it was time to cut our losses before the start of a new season, but I’m sure the City of Winters has someone great to reopen another bait shop & to take care of the lake. And who knows, we just might take the Elm Creek Bait Shop to another location. Stay tuned for updates! 🎣

Goodbyes are never easy, but we say farewell n thank you to everyone who supported the little bait shop on the lake. We love and appreciate each & everyone of you 🫶

It’s been a windy, drizzly, n rainy kinda day LaKe LoVeRs, fishermen, n women. Today started out nice enough, though.

We want to thank the customers, a couple of ones today & one a couple of weekends in a row, that have stopped in for bait. It’s been very slow these last few months & bait sales are struggling through the Fall months, but I sure appreciate the LiVe BaiT buyers that have come in. Winter has arrived & we won’t be stocking anymore minnows until sometime in January, but they will be back in stock for Crappie season. Can’t wait for Spring time ☀️🕶️🌻

But in the meantime have a very Merry Christmas 🎄🎁 We are 🅾️pen Christmas Day.
