Fishing report bass still shallow look for visible vegetation.Early throw zoo pop in the grass and yellow magic in front of vegetation. Later go to wacky rigged wacky senko fished in front of visible cover slowly!!. Later in day look for stumps along a creek in 13-18 ft shaky head with senko or Texas rigged 8-10 in worm in junebug. Lake is turning over in spots. Crappie good at 13-18 ft minnows and hand tied jigs that resemble Shad colors. Look for a blue/grey ghost for that color. Let’s look at the weekend reports for bass fishing. Top water bite has kicked in with the cooler and just a little rain. Lake came up around 4” no not feet we are talking inches! Good job weather man! So look for vegetation, shad and you will find bass in shallow water with deeper water close by. This is the key. Small swim baits in Shad colors around the vegetation is working along with small Texas rig or shakey head with air tail rattlesnake. Plum colors still working! Later in the day 8-10 inch worms on main lake points or the deeper diving crank baits around standing isolated timber, like a long fence row in deeper water. Also crank the damn area. Good luck , stop by Fisherman’s One Stop for your non ethanol fuel.
