The 964 Turbo 3.6 represents one of those brief moments in Porsche history where everything came together at exactly the right time.

Introduced for 1993, the Turbo 3.6 finally paired the 964 Turbo chassis with Porsche’s larger 3.6-liter flat-six, producing 355 horsepower and 384 lb-ft of torque through a five-speed manual transmission. Its production run was remarkably short, and this Japanese-market 1994 example is one of a reported 754 built worldwide for the model year.

Finished in Polar Silver Metallic over Black leather, this example becomes even more interesting as a desirable non-sunroof RoW car. It retains the unmistakable details that define the Turbo 3.6, including its wide body, fixed rear wing, and iconic multi-piece 18-inch Speedline wheels. With approximately 30,000 miles shown, it also features an aftermarket exhaust that gives the turbocharged flat-six a soundtrack worthy of the car surrounding it.

The Turbo 3.6 sits at the very end of the classic single-turbo, rear-wheel-drive 911 lineage and for many enthusiasts, represents the ultimate evolution of that formula before the arrival of the 993.

Our 1994 Porsche 911 Turbo 3.6 is live now on Bring a Trailer. Head over to the auction to see the complete gallery, videos, and details.

Two shades of blue. Two completely different interpretations of what a RUF can be.

Finished in Riviera Blue and Avus Blue respectively, this pairing brings together two of the most significant air-cooled RUFs ever built: the RCT Evo and the CTR1 Ultimate.

The RCT Evo represents RUF’s philosophy at its most usable. Based on the 964 platform and powered by a turbocharged 3.6-liter flat-six paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, it delivers the kind of real-world performance that made RUF legendary. Fast, refined, and endlessly capable, it remains one of the ultimate driver’s cars to emerge from Pfaffenhausen.

Then there’s the CTR1 Ultimate. A car that occupies an entirely different place in RUF history.

Built as the final evolution of the original CTR program that produced the legendary “Yellowbird,” the Ultimate combined decades of RUF engineering into a single machine. This Avus Blue example is believed to be the only true W09-chassis CTR1 Ultimate in existence, meaning it was built as a genuine RUF automobile from the ground up under RUF’s manufacturer designation—not converted from a Porsche VIN.

That distinction matters. A W09 VIN signifies a vehicle engineered, manufactured, and recognized as a RUF in its own right. Not a modified Porsche, but a standalone automobile carrying one of the most respected names in performance engineering.

One represents the perfect turbocharged road car. The other represents the pinnacle of air-cooled RUF exclusivity.

Some cars are rare because they were expensive. The Spyker C8 Spyder is rare because almost nobody else would have been bold enough to build it.

Live now on Bring a Trailer, this 2006 C8 Spyder is one of the most distinctive exotics of the 2000s. It’s a hand-built Dutch supercar shaped as much by aviation as by automotive design. Aluminum bodywork, scissor doors, polished metal details, turbine-inspired surfaces, and one of the most memorable interiors ever fitted to a production car all make the Spyker feel less like a conventional exotic and more like a rolling piece of industrial art.

Power comes from a mid-mounted 4.2-liter Audi V8 paired with a 6-speed manual transaxle, a combination that gives the C8 Spyder a rare blend of exotic character and genuine usability. Add in the exposed shift linkage, aircraft-style switchgear, and aluminum spaceframe chassis, and the result is a driving experience that feels completely unlike anything else from its era.

This example is finished in Jet Black over Magnolia leather and shows just 7,500 miles. It also benefits from a major engine-out service completed in May 2024, including replacement of the timing belt, water pump, fuel system components, air conditioning compressor, and more.

Few cars stop people in their tracks like a Spyker. Fewer still back it up with this level of craftsmanship and detail.
