Unfortunately, Jenson had a turbulent first practice yesterday which resulted in extensive damage to the car. Because of this, Jenson was unable to go out for a further practice in yesterdays session.
Both Jenson and the team decided that it was unrealistic and unfair to ask Jenson to drive today. Unlike most of the other drivers here, Jenson has no prior experience with the magnitude of gap jumps that are present at this track. Without extra seat time and practice, it would have been unwise to continue.

Jenson is genuinely very disappointed not to be racing following his good first event in Minneapolis.

Wow, what a weekend!! It was so awesome for Oli to make it to his first ever Nitro Rallycross final and to finish fifth was fantastic. What a great result for the team.

And to have Jenson finally make his Rallycross debut - tricky initiation for him but he started getting to grips with it (literally) in the end. Loads of progress made over the weekend for him and he will be stronger at the next round for sure.

We can’t wait to head to LA now for the next round in just 4 weeks.
