This Youth Day, RMS Automotive Group honours the brave youth of 1976 and the living voices who continue to carry their story.

We recognize Seth Mazibuko [left], one of the young leaders of the uprising , Antoinette Sithole [middle], who witnessed the moment that shook the world; and Sibongile “Bongi” Mkhabela [right], a courageous student activist who stood for justice.

Together with many other survivors, they remind us that today is not just a day of remembrance — it is a call to respect the sacrifice, protect the legacy, and build a future worthy of their courage.

This Youth Day, RMS Automotive Group bows its head in honour of the brave youth of 1976 — and the living some of the voices who still carry the weight of that history with courage and dignity.

We honour Seth Mazibuko , one of the young leaders of the Soweto Uprising; Antoinette Sithole, who witnessed the moment that shook the world; and Sibongile “Bongi” Mkhabela , a fearless student activist who stood on the side of justice when silence was not an option.

Together with many other survivors, they remind us that Youth Day is more than a public holiday. It is a sacred reminder of sacrifice, resilience, and responsibility.

Their courage gave a nation its voice.
Our duty is to respect the legacy, protect the truth, and build a future worthy of the freedom they fought for.
