We are ready for a power wash, then off to Techniworx so Deon and his team can make it look pretty again.

We now have a pile of bits and bobs to work through. Dumping the crunchy ones and keeping the good ones. Our list is coming together and will be published this week.

Today we mourn.

3 months ago one of our customers spent a pretty penny respraying his late father's pride and joy, the legendary Defender 90 Tdi.

As money is tight, he saved up for months to be able to do this job.

Yesterday, 2 months after completing the dream, albeit only the exterior, the vehicle caught fire whilst standing in his driveway.

All he could do was watch his investment burn, not being able to afford another.

As Land Rover Family, we have decided to do the charitable thing and extend not only our condolences, but our hand as well.

7 Landies hereby calls on each and every Land Rover family member to aid in repairing this poor Defender to its former glory.

We have decided to donate our time, labour, knowledge to this cause by repairing this vehicle.

Deon and his team at Techniworx has agreed to do the panel work, paint work and restore the vehicle to its former state.

We will be updating this post as we continue with this project and ask each and every enthusiast to donate whatever parts you may have hidden in a box in your garage.

Monetary donation WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED, as this is a labour of love.

This was the first start-up after saving the Si4 mr Patrick O'Keeffe brought to us for some TLC

Patrick O'Keeffe has trusted us with his beloved Evoque when it started misbehaving.

After a thorough investigation it was found that this vehicle has failed piston rings and broken ring lands on two of the four pistons.

Lockdown has hindered the repair process considerably, but we persevered and finished his vehicle in time for his weekend away with his family.
