Now in an airy workshop space, Leon's Workshop started in our garage in 2014, after Leon decided that going on his own would give him more time with his baby son, then 1 year old. In 2016, with the help of his parents-in-law, the family invested in a workshop space in Fish Eagle Park. Leon's grown-up sons, Naldo, Bert and Liam, also help in the business when we need extra hands, and this year we w
ere joined full-time by Simphiwe, trained locally at the False Bay Community College. Leon's clientele base is in the Far South of the Southern Peninsula, with clients he has been helping for more than ten years, when he was a workshop manager at two prominent local franchises. But we have a growing clientele in more central areas (like Athlone) and in the Northern suburbs, and, when possible, we can work on-site or collect and deliver vehicles. We pride ourselves at sourcing affordable parts, and working to our client's budget. At Leon's workshop the emphasis is on building a long-term relationship with clients, and their vehicles. Regular maintenance can really extend the life of a vehicle. A growing aspect of the business is servicing and rebuilding manual gearboxes.
