🌡️ YOUR CAR’S COOLING SYSTEM DOES MORE THAN STOP WATER FROM BOILING — IT PREVENTS ENGINE DAMAGE.
Let’s talk operating temperature.
Your engine is designed to run within a specific temperature range. A healthy cooling system keeps that temperature stable — coolant, radiator, thermostat, water pump, pressure cap, fans and hoses all working together.
Now here’s where things get interesting…
💧 Water doesn’t just get “a bit hotter” when it boils.
When liquid water turns into steam, it expands to roughly 1,600 times its original volume at atmospheric pressure.
Now imagine that happening inside a cooling system that is already under pressure.
That pressure always goes somewhere.
And that’s where you end up with:
🔥 overheating
💥 burst hoses
💥 damaged radiator components
💥 blown seals
💥 cylinder‑head damage
💥 a compromised system that continue to fail...
💸 and a repair bill that makes that little bottle of coolant look VERY cheap!
And please… 🙈
If your vehicle keeps losing water/coolant, topping up every few days is NOT a repair — it’s a red flag.
A healthy cooling system should not need topping up.
If you’re driving around knowing your vehicle is losing coolant and your solution is simply:
“Ag, I’ll just put some more water in.”
…you are not fixing the problem.
You’re just giving the problem more time to become expensive. 😅

A small leak today can become a very big problem tomorrow.
