🚨 Vehicle Recovery Report

📍 Hijacked: Manenberg, Cape Town
📍 Recovered: Abandoned at the beach off Baden Powell Drive

A white delivery truck hijacked in Manenberg was recovered abandoned and stripped of stock at a remote beach location. Through coordinated intelligence gathering and assistance from the South African Flying Squad, our teams traced the stolen goods to a warehouse. During the search, a known suspect unknowingly arrived at the scene in a white BMW. Upon spotting the recovery teams, he attempted to flee but was swiftly intercepted following a short pursuit. The suspect was arrested on site and handed over to the South African Police Service, and all stolen stock was successfully recovered.

🚨 Vehicle Recovery Report
📅 Date: 29 June 2025 – 🕕 Time: 06:30 AM
📍 Hijacked: Lloyd Township, Cape Town
📍 Recovered: Deep brush near Cape Town International Airport

Swift response and coordinated tracking efforts led to the successful recovery of a white Toyota Avanza, discovered concealed in thick vegetation alongside the highway near the airport. The vehicle was intentionally hidden in the brush, and the recovery was executed without incident. It has since been secured for further investigation.

10/11/2024 - Vehicle hijacked and stripped in Browns Farm, Phillipi.

Partner tracking company contacted our control room to inform us of a vehicle which had been hijacked and was no longer updating.
Last location was provided to our recovery teams who located the vehicle in Browns Farm partially stripped.

Vehicle towing was arranged by the owner.

On the 22nd October 2024 our teams received an activation from our partners at Afrisist informing us that a truck had been hi-jacked. Our teams were dispatched to the provided location and found an Isuzu 850 emptied on the side of the road.

Acting on information gathered from the scene, our teams proceeded to a nearby field where one suspect was apprehended with the trucks keys and petrol card.

Our agents were provided with camera footage from the vehicles security systems and identified suspects and information regarding the location of the stolen stock.

Along with the South African Police Service investigators, the teams proceeded to a location identified in Schaapkraal. Arriving at the location an unmarked van was found loaded with stock matching the trucks stock invoices.

3 suspects identified on the vehicle footage were found on location and apprehended.

Vehicle hi-jacked at gunpoint in Mfuleni. Driver unharmed.
Hijackers lost control of vehicle and hit a traffic light before fleeing into the fields.

❗Recovery Report❗

On the 23rd of September 2023 our N.O.C received an activation from a tracking company informing us of a vehicle which had been stolen and was currently driving in the Bonteheuwel area.

Our agents were dispatched with the live tracking provided. Bishop Lavis SAPS were informed and assisted our recovery team with additional vehicles.

The vehicle was tracked driving in the Kalksteenfontein area.

With the assistance of the additional vehicles our team intercepted the stolen vehicle while driving out of the area. The vehicle was boxed in and brought to a stop.

Two suspects were detained driving the vehicle and taken into SAPS custody.

The vehicle and suspects were handed over at the Bishop Lavis police station on a case of possession of a stolen motor vehicle.

And to start the weekend off, we have a bike thief who delivered the stolen bike to Athlone SAPS parking lot before running off into Hazendal.

At 00:00 on the 23rd September 2023 our N.O.C received an activation regarding a Checkers 60/60 delivery bike which had been stolen in Goodwood.

The live tracking was provided and the vehicle was moving. Our recovery team was dispatched and following the live location tracked the bike to an unexpected location, Athlone SAPS parking.

The suspect unfortunately saw the recovery vehicle approaching and fled into Hazendal where he managed to evade capture.

The bike had been hot-wired and was loaded for removal from the scene.

On the 21st of September 2023 our N.O.C received an activation regarding a vehicle which had been hi-jacked in Harare, Khayelitsha.

Details were provided to our recovery team who were immediately dispatched. Within 24mins the vehicle had been recovered in Ikwezi Park.

The vehicle had been hi-jacked by one armed suspect who hit the driver in the head with the firearm. Medical assistance was provided to the driver who was sent to the nearest hospital to receive further treatment and stitches.

Vehicle was removed from the area.

On Wednesday 20th September 2023 our N.O.C received an activation from a partner tracking company regarding a BMW which had been hi-jacked. The vehicles last known co-ordinates were relayed to our recovery team who were dispatched to the location.

Upon arrival no vehicle was found and in conjunction with Law Enforcement officers a search of the area was conducted.

After reviewing the tracks of the vehicle from the GPS tracking system our recovery team followed a route they decided the vehicle must have taken.

A few minutes later the notification was received informing us that the vehicle had been recovered hidden behind a shack in the informal settlement.

With the assistance of Law Enforcement members, the vehicle was removed from the area with no damage.

On the 19th of September 2023 our N.O.C received a notification regarding a delivery bike which had been hijacked and was driving towards the Browns Farm area.

Our recovery team was dispatched and provided the live tracking of the bike.

Within 12mins our team had intercepted the motorbike in the Sweet Home area of Phillipi.

Vehicle was successfully recovered with no damage due to the quick response of all parties involved.

On the 17th of September 2023 our N.O.C received an activation from a tracking partner informing us that a vehicle had been hi-jacked in Harare, Cape Town.

Our recovery teams were immediately activated and provided with the necessary details.

Within 19mins our agents were standing down with the vehicle recovered in Makhaza. No damage had been done to the vehicle.

The suspects unfortunately managed to escape in-between the informal settlement. One imitation firearm was found in the vehicle.
