Kinect Kids

Kinect Kids Kinderkinetics Practice Kinect Kids is a new kinderkinetics practice in the Helderberg Basin. We offer different movement programs from 0-14 years of age.

We focus on the holistic development of children through the expansion and improvement of their gross motor skills. We work on both the individual level, which includes remedial sessions, as well as in groups

Below is a list of the movement areas in which we as kinderkineticists focus:

• Balance
• Fine & Gross Motor
• Rhythm & Timing
• Locomotion
• Coordination
• Spatial Orient

We also offer specialised evaluations to determine where the child falls on the motor development spectrum. These results are then presented to the parents and teachers in the form of an assessment report. From these results we as kinderkineticists can determine which children may have movement difficulties and may need remedial assistance. We understand that there is a strong link between academic performance and movement and we wish to give every child the opportunity to reach their academic potential.
