Welcome to everyone on the new MNS page. As you're well aware MNS took over the Ozone business on the 1st of March 2022. The transition had been tough, but we are glad that the MNS team now has a grip on most aspects of the business.

Marine Navigation Systems Pty (Ltd) acquires Ozone Marine Communications Pty (Ltd)

Cape Town, South Africa, March 1, 2022 - Marine Navigation Systems Pty Ltd (MNS) has acquired Ozone Marine Communications Pty (Ltd).
Established in 1970 (MNS) has always been focused on sales and repairs of maritime technologies. With many years of experience in the marine sector, MNS will continue to serve and grow the trunking (Kavicomm) radio systems. With the purchase of Ozone, MNS is now the number one Vessel Management Systems (VMS) service provider in South Africa.

We are pleased to have been able to work together with the leadership of Ozone on this deal. There are several synergies that we believe can be derived from this acquisition and ultimately these will benefit our customers, confirms Andile Dhlomo managing director of MNS.

In addition to the Kavicomm and VMS systems, MNS offers a wide range of maritime technologies including maritime communication, navigation, and safety equipment. MNS has also been serving the fishing community for many years with offerings to track and locate fish like fishing sonars and fishing buoys.

About Ozone Communications (Pty) Ltd: Ozone Communications is a preferred service provider in the maritime industry, offering the latest trunking, radio communications and VMS fleet tracking systems. The VMS systems are designed to improve safety and security while also improving operational efficiencies, lowering operating costs and maximizing fleet deployment.

We are also pleased to have concluded this deal with MNS and we strongly believe that this will benefit to our customers positively going forward. MNS has a good track record in the maritime industry, which makes them the ideal candidate to take the business of Ozone forward, affirms Marius Scholtz, managing
