WOMEN'S DAY POWER SERIES. Wednesday 9th August 2017.

We are back with Round 7 of our popular POWER SERIES. This year to celebrate Women's Day we will be holding the event on Wednesday 9th August 2017.

Ladies, this is your day. At least one lucky lady is going to win a drive around the circuit, at racing speed, in a V8 Masters race car. early risers will also be treated to a hot chocolate, tea or coffee in the main Clubhouse.

Come support all your local favourites. It may be a wet race which makes things a lot more interesting. Remember to wear warm clothes and bring umbrellas, just in case.

Racing categories include:

Mike Hopkins Superbikes A, B & 600’s, Mike Hopkins Classic SB/Clubman A & B, Mike Hopkins Powersport A & B, Kent Homes Fine Cars, Access Auto Classic Cars, Midas Clubmans, Makita Supercars, V8 Masters, Sports & GT, Formula Libre and Bold Marine GTi Challenge.

Or hang out in one of the pubs around the Circuit, including the famous Trackside Pub and Grill with great views of the fast sweep onto Back Straight.

Tickets: R70 for adults and R20 for scholars under 16, with no charge for kiddies under 12.

POWER SERIES ROUND 4: Saturday 13th May 2017.

We're back and this one is a BIG one. Besides all your local favourites, we are also hosting the MOPAR South African Endurance Series, featuring Campos 400.

This is a 3hr enduro with multiple pit stops and driver changes. Some of the best drivers in the country will be competing insome spectacular machinery that includes GT Racers and Sports Prototypes.

A Monster fan zone is being created behind the Clubhouse. The family entertainment here will include live racing projected on a large outdoor screen, Grand Prix simulators, an extreme skateboarding demo and of course the kiddies playground where trained minders, will be available to take care of the youngsters.

Of course, the shuttle service will also be available for those who would like to view the racing from different viewpoints around the circuit.

Adults: R70.00. U16: R20.00 and U12, free.

He was a Legend!

It's a sad day for us all knowing that the legendary Peter Gough is no longer with us.

Known as 'Goffy' to all in the motor racing industry, Peter had an incredible sense of humour and an ability to make any car dance around a racetrack.

Thoughts and prayers are with family and friends.

RIP Peter. You will be sorely missed.
