Revolution MC and Childline at the Comrades Marathon 2026: Fueled by Heart & Community

​The Comrades Marathon is legendary for a reason, it is an absolutely grueling, ultimate test of human endurance. Yesterday, over 21 600 runners pushed their bodies to the absolute limit. But behind every great runner is an incredible support system, Childline and Revolution Motorcycle Club were proud to be right there on the frontline.

​For over 8 years, our club members have annually stepped up to assist PinkDrive, and for the past 3 years, we’ve teamed up with the amazing folks at Childline to rock the refreshment station.

​It was grueling for the bike club members and the Childline volunteers too.

The 2am Wake-Up Call: While most were sleeping, our crew was setting up Refreshment Station #5.

At 5:30am First Contact: The elite frontrunners smashed past us just as the sun was rising.

Hydration & Healing: Working hand-in-hand with the brilliant Childline volunteers, we served up thousands of sachets of water, Energade, and cool drinks, alongside a medical table to keep the runners moving.

Fueled by the Best: You can't pour from an empty cup. To keep our volunteers smiling and full of energy, Revolution MC... with the incredible assistance of Magic Pan Catering, provided a sumptuous early morning volunteer breakfast that kept the vibes high all day long.

A massive thank you to everyone who assisted. We had a wonderful time providing the absolute best service to the runners. To the athletes, you inspire us. To the volunteers, you are the heartbeat of this event.

To add to our Comrades success we had Wade Gounden one of our members running the race together with Kim Naidoo. Well done... you made us proud.

Brothers and sisters,

This is more than cloth. More than thread and color. This is the REVOLUTION MC patch.

When you earn this patch, you don’t just put it on your back. You take on a responsibility. The patch means your word means something. It means when a brother or sister calls, you answer. It means you ride in, and you ride out, with the same people beside you.

The patch doesn’t make the rider. The rider earns the patch. Through respect. Through loyalty. Through showing up when it’s easy, and showing up when it’s hard. Through protecting the club, and protecting each other.

Look at the colors. They represent who we are. The name _REVOLUTION_ isn’t about tearing things down. It’s about changing the way we move through this world — together, with pride, with purpose. A revolution of loyalty in a time when that’s rare. A revolution of family in a world that’s too busy to care.

Once this patch goes on your back, people see it before they see your face. They see REVOLUTION MC. So how you carry yourself, how you ride, how you treat people — that becomes the club’s reputation. Wear it with honor. Defend it with dignity. Never let it touch the ground.

The patch connects us. Old head to prospect. Cruiser to sports bike. Chatsworth to wherever the road takes us. Different stories, but one patch. One club. One family.

So if you wear REVOLUTION MC on your back, wear it with pride. Because the patch doesn’t belong to you. You belong to it. And we belong to each other.

Brothers and sisters, who attended Comrades MC 40th Anniversary bash

Look behind me. That’s not just noise you hear. That’s REVOLUTION MC.

We didn’t come in ones and twos. We came in numbers. We came as a family.

When a club rolls into a bike jol with this many bikes, this many colors, this many hearts beating as one, it sends a message: REVOLUTION MC shows up. We ride together. We park together. We respect the road and we respect the brotherhood and sisterhood of every club here today.

A big turnout isn’t about showing off. It’s about showing up. Showing up for our club. Showing up for the culture. Showing up to support the hosts, the organizers, and every rider who had the same idea — get the bikes out and celebrate what we love.

Diversity rides with us. Young guns and old heads. Cruisers, choppers, sports bikes, tourers. Different stories, different roads we came from. But when we pull in as REVOLUTION MC, we’re one club, one patch, one family.
