Did you know your D4D has a hidden feature of Auto Door locking while driving?

What does this mean? Well after traveling over 20km/h the doors will automatically lock and will Auto Unlock once you switch off and remove the key from the ignition.

This is great feature considering the current crime and high jacking rate of these sort after vehicles.

**Duel Mass Flywheel Failure**

This customer brought in his VW Transporter due to a noise within the bell housing.

We removed the gearbox as well as the clutch kit and this is what we found.

A dual-mass flywheel (DMF or DMFW) is a rotating mechanical device that is used to provide continuous energy (rotational energy) in systems where the energy source is not continuous, the same way as a conventional flywheel acts, but damping any violent variation of torque or revolutions that could cause an unwanted vibration.
