Fleet Controller

𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐲: OneLogix Mega, Umlaas, KZN

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
The Fleet Controller is a pivotal role responsible for the end-to-end management of a designated fleet segment. You will ensure optimal utilisation, rigorous cost control, and a high-performance driver culture while exceeding customer expectations.

1. Operational & Financial Excellence
• Profitability: Assume full P&L responsibility for your assigned fleet segment.
• Planning & Strategy: Execute customer orders strategically to maximise revenue and minimise empty legs.
• Cost Management: Monitor and optimize fuel consumption, maintenance, tyres, and permit costs.
• Cross-Border Efficiency: Minimize standing time at borders to maximize earning potential.

2. Driver Leadership & Compliance
• Management: Lead and develop drivers to ensure a safe, cooperative, and productive environment.
• Training: Ensure drivers are experts in safety procedures and operational technology (Klari-T App).
• Performance: Conduct thorough trip debriefings to drive continuous improvement.
• Compliance: Manage PrDPs, medicals, and RTMS standards to ensure 100% legal compliance.

3. Customer Service & Asset Care
• Service Delivery: Work with Account Executives to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
• Documentation: Manage PODs (physical and electronic) to facilitate rapid invoicing.
• Maintenance: Coordinate with workshops to minimize downtime and ensure vehicle roadworthiness


𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝:

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Relevant logistics, or transport qualification will be advantageous.
• Proven experience in Fleet Management or Transport Operations.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in cost control and budget management.
• Knowledge of National Road Traffic Act and abnormal load regulations.
• Proficiency in Transport Management Systems (experience with Klari-T is a plus).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer management skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
