COOLING SYSTEM MECHANIC
A well established family run franchise is looking to employ a cooling system technician.

Duties include :
Test and diagnose faults on automotive cooling systems
Remove and replace radiators and other cooling system components
Re-gas automotive air-conditioning systems
Assist with radiator repairs when required.

This is an entry level position, where a qualified mechanic is not a requirement. However, a technical aptitude is essential.

Silverton Radiators is a specialist Thermal systems solutions provider that has been operating in Southern Africa for more than Sixty years. Our Speciality lies in solving all kinds of engine cooling problems while we are at the same time fully geared to supply nearly all the necessary parts forming part of the Engine cooling or air-conditioning systems of most popular applications.

With more than 120 dealers spread across Southern Africa, Silverton Radiators has for decades been the provider of choice to literally millions of satisfied customers. Our customers include motorists, fleet operators, workshops, body repair facilities, mines, contractors as well as the agricultural community. While the Silverton dealerships are all privately owned and operated, they form part of a Franchise group which is owned by Behr Hella Service South Africa and is part of the global group headquartered in Germany. We have also recently joined, as franchise; the Africa Automotive Aftermarket Solutions Group of company’s which is owned and managed by The Imperial Group.

The Silverton Radiators Branch in Port Elizabeth has been owned by Mr. Nick Evans since 16 October 1997. He is assisted by his Branch Manager Mr. Andries Swanepoel who has 20 years’ experience in the radiator Industry and Mr.Chad Evans with 6 years’ experience in the trade.
