STREET THAT WILL BE AFFECTED BY A MOTORCADE TOMORROW WEDNESDAY, 29 JUNE 2022.
Take note that there will be a motorcade tomorrow, 29 June 2022 by South African Towing Repair Transformation Board.
Purpose: To demand fair rates and fair work distribution from AA.
They will gather from 08:00 at corner Lanchen Avenue and John Vorster Drive Centurion, Pretoria.
The route of the motorcade is as follows:
From the gathering point they will turn right into John Vorster Drive northbound and turn left into N1 southbound, proceed on N1 southbound until the reach Samrand Road where the Tshwane Metro Police officers will hand over to the Johannesburg Metro Police. The JMPD will es**rt the motorcade until they turn left into New Road, then proceed with them until they reach their destination at AA offices Johannesburg.
They are expected to disperse from the AA offices at 11:00.
The following streets will be affected:
*Lanchen Avenue
*John Vorster Drive
*Ackerboom Street
*BlackberryStreet
*Samrand Road
Tshwane Metro Police officers will be deployed to monitor march and all affected streets. Motorists are advised to avoid affected streets and use alternative routes such as:
*South Street
*Centaurus Street
* Olievenhoutbosch Road
*Jean Avenue
