Why it matters:
A worn wheel bearing is not just a noise issue — it is a safety issue. It causes progressive looseness in the front wheel, affects steering response, and can trigger ABS faults. Left unattended, a failed bearing can lead to wheel seizure at speed. The W205 front bearing is a sealed unit with an integrated ABS sensor ring, meaning only a genuine OEM part will ensure correct ABS function after replacement.

What is it?
The right-side front LED headlight assembly for the W205 C-Class. This is the complete unit — housing, LED modules, and internals — delivering Mercedes-Benz factory light output, beam pattern, and the signature daytime running light signature the C-Class is known for.
Why it matters:
A damaged or water-ingressed headlight does more than affect appearance. It compromises road visibility, fails roadworthy inspections, and can cause electrical faults if moisture reaches the internal modules. The W205 headlight design is particularly vulnerable to cracking after minor front-end impacts — and a non-genuine replacement will never match the original beam pattern or DRL styling.

What is it?
The intercooler cools compressed air from the turbocharger before it enters the engine. Cooler, denser air means better combustion, more power, and improved fuel efficiency — it is a critical component in every turbocharged engine.
Why it matters:
A leaking or deteriorated intercooler reduces engine power noticeably, increases fuel consumption, and can cause the engine to run rich or trigger fault codes. In South African heat conditions, a failing intercooler puts even greater strain on an already working turbo system.
