This is not a comment about this incident. If you have bribed a cop to get off a fine, you are no better than these politicians, crooks and police, stealing from a company, no matter the amount.

South African indicators are fascinating things.

Some drivers use them:
- After already having completed the lane change.
- Only once the robot turns green, keeping their decision a secret to the last moment.
- Only once having entered the circle.
- or not at all… because apparently telepathy is now part of the K53.

At this point, indicators aren’t communication devices anymore, they are surprise announcements when we should be indicating between 3 and 5 seconds before making any move, if safe to do so.

“Good luck everybody, I’ve made a decision.”

And then people wonder why traffic flows like a shopping trolley with a broken wheel.

Using an indicator is not giving away state secrets. It’s literally just saying: “Hi. I’m about to do something stupid. Please prepare accordingly
