This October, 3 Point Turn Driving Academy proudly supports October Transport Month 2026 under the theme:

“Building a safe, sustainable, reliable and affordable transport system.”

But what does this mean for YOU as a driver?

Transport Month is a good reminder that road safety is everyone's responsibility, and every driver has a role to play.

Before you start your journey:

✅ Wear your seatbelt.
✅ Check your mirrors and blind spots.
✅ Make sure your vehicle is roadworthy.
✅ Know your route and allow enough travel time.
✅ Avoid driving when tired or impaired.

While driving:

✔️ Obey traffic signs and signals.
✔️ Keep a safe following distance.
✔️ Don't use your phone while driving.
✔️ Adjust your speed to the road, weather and traffic conditions.
✔️ Watch carefully for pedestrians, cyclists, motorcyclists and other vulnerable road users.
✔️ Be patient and considerate, the road belongs to all of us.

At 3 Point Turn Driving Academy, our commitment goes beyond helping learners obtain a driving licence.

We are committed to developing safe, responsible and confident drivers through K53 driver training, practical driving lessons, driver education and road-safety awareness.

Woven into one. United by heritage. Inspired by diversity.

Today we celebrate the cultures, languages, traditions and stories that make South Africa uniquely ours.

Our heritage reminds us that we may come from different backgrounds, speak different languages, practise different traditions and tell different stories and yet we share one country, one journey and a future we are building together. Our diversity is not what separates us; it is part of what makes South Africa who we are.

At 3 Point Turn, we believe every journey is shaped by the people we meet, the lessons we learn and the communities we serve. As we honour our heritage, embrace Ubuntu, celebrate cultural diversity and strengthen social cohesion, may we continue learning from one another, respecting our differences and creating opportunities for future generations.

Different journeys. One shared destination.

Happy Heritage Day from 3 Point Turn!
