THROWBACK THURSDAY.

Back in May, we came out of the workshop and joined forces with Volkswagen and "the Amarok" for an amazing day out.

We helped demonstrate how the protection can be applied to the vehicle such as the Amarok, while retaining its aesthetic and practical features

And not to mention we personally meet our audience, answer their questions on the topic of armouring and
let them see the level of professionalism with which it can be done.

Lots of fun, lots of discussions and a collaboration that we were glad to take part in.

FAQ: How thick is ballistic glass, and can the windows still open?

Ballistic glass is not ordinary vehicle glass that just been made slightly thicker.

It consists of layers, which have been created to offer resistance from certain attacks and vary in thickness depending on the type.

This means that along with the added protection come additional weight,
which makes it necessary for the window system to be different as well.

Depending on the vehicle and level of protection, rear windows are usually stationary, while front windows can be opened only partially, but with a stronger mechanism.
