🏁 GXCC ROUND 5 – VERENA 🏁
What a weekend for the Extreme ATV team at Round 5 of the GXCC Racing series in Verena!
Both our Hoedspruit riders were on their Honda TRX450s, showing determination, teamwork and a never-give-up attitude.
🔹 Tony Lopes Jr. – 4th Place
After starting his season late and battling engine issues, Tony finally got his first finish of the season! He secured a solid 4th place, even after stopping to help his Extreme ATV teammate when mechanical trouble struck. That's what being part of a team is all about!
🔹 Marcell Coetzee – 3rd Place
Or as we like to call him, Mr Consistent!
Marcell had a fantastic start and, after the first lap, was leading the Q2 class and even the overall race at one stage. Unfortunately, a master link on his chain had other plans and brought him to a stop.
After losing valuable time, Tony came to the rescue, helping Marcell get his Honda TRX450 going again. Marcell fought back to secure a solid 3rd place in Q2 and his 5th podium of the season! 🥉
That's racing – things don't always go according to plan, but teamwork makes all the difference!
Well done to both Tony and Marcell for representing Extreme ATV and Hoedspruit out on the track. We're proud to have you on the team!
