BMW 420i being transformed today 😎

In for engine and gearbox tuning, these engines are heavily detuned from factory, adjustments to the Ecu calibration completely transforms them as can be seen from the Dyno graph.

Stock - 196bhp / 270nm

1.6TDI passat over from Orkney for retune.

Customer previously had the car tuned local to him but ever since found it laggy and throttle like a light switch. We took a read of the Ecu and analysed the data comparing it with stock file and found some questionable changes, We flashed back in stock tune and can see on the Dyno graph instantly the response was back getting rid of that nasty lag.

Completely retuned from scratch although not making high peak bhp gains we found over 70nm more torque below 2000rpm and 30bhp gains in the mid range. Throttle no longer like an on off switch and back to having a nice progressive feel giving the smooth power feeling.

Job done 😎✅

Stock - 107bhp / 251nm
Tuner X - 145bhp / 304nm
HTS Tuned - 153bhp / 353nm
Proven gains of 46bhp & 102nm over stock and 8bhp & 49nm over previous tune.

Family car with plenty power!

These Octivia VRS are the best of both worlds, great family car but with great 2.0TSI engine that packs plenty punch at the same time.

Nice straight forward tuning session on this one, totally stock just running 99ron fuel. Great power and torque enhancements while being mindful of the stock clutch tapering in boost with a smooth profile and keeping the power climbing to the redline 😎

Mk8 Golf GTD in for engine & gearbox tuning.

No slouch in stock form but there is plenty left on the table with tuning. Couple of revisions on the engine to smooth everything out nicely and keeping within safe limits - gearbox tuned for faster shifts, quicker response and allowing to rev slightly higher before shifting up gears.

Q7 3.0TDI V6 in for engine & gearbox tuning.

Even being the 272bhp model these still offer an impressive enhancement in power and torque with tuning. Seeing an additional 50bhp & 120nm with tuning. Coupled with our gearbox software they marry together perfectly and the on road driving experience massively improved.

Tidy Alfa in for tuning & software solutions.

Initial runs we had a slight overboost towards the top end of the rev range, base map in and it quickly became even worse. Making all the boost and all the numbers on the Dyno! Lots of revisions messing with the boost control to get it back in check we capped it from 3.5k onwards to tail off for safety.

Recent replacement turbo we suspect hasn’t been set up correctly, a lot of work but we got there with it in the end. Another great example of the importance of the Dyno and logging correctly.

Mk7 Golf 1.4TSI in for tuning.

Punchy in stock form but power dies off early in the rev range. With tuning these pull hard all the way to the limiter, logging perfectly thanks to having a full tank of 99ron this helped use more timing advance at the top end to keep the power flowing with zero correction with back to back pulls.

BMW 435D in for tuning 😎

The ultimate daily that does everything. With a simple tune these are absolutely incredible cars, customer had already flashed stage 3 XHP prior to coming in so was up to us to tune the engine, take full advantage of the gearbox tune and marry them both together seamlessly.

Couple of revisions out on the road and the car is completely transformed, power around 370bhp & 730nm - insane for a completely stock diesel vehicle with just a tune.
