Filter basket failure on GDI injectors and how to fix✅

These 2.0 TFSI injectors came in due to the car misfiring.

Straight away without testing the injectors we could tell they were at fault as the filter baskets have completely broken down and turned into dust which eventually turns into one big clump in the nozzle.

When this happens normal cleaning procedures cannot fully remove the debris and doesn’t recover the injector.

This is where our unique additional ‘Advanced Cleaning’ service comes into place. This service is designed purely to remove the plastic debris and any other debris from inside the injector/nozzle.

The injectors were fully recovered to like new condition again. Uprated wire mesh filter baskets are always installed to prevent this from happening again.

Misfires? Gone ✅

2.0 TFSI Audi S3 8P in for inlet and injector cleaning + Advanced Cleaning✅

Came in with misfires on cylinder 2 and 3.
Injector number 2 and 3 were faulty and needed repairing.

Customer decided to Advanced clean all 4 injectors instead of replacing them with new ones.

After the injectors and inlet were cleaned the car was running like new again with 0 misfires on idle or when driving✅

These were huge and filled out test tubes up within 2 seconds!!

They have been sat in the car for 6 years and initially were not working correctly but after a good clean they all came up like new ✅🙌🏽

The usual amount of carbon build up we see on GDI injectors. These had no issues but if left for another year or 2 they would have definitely got clogged up and caused issues.

Ultrasonic cleaned along with back purging to reverse flush the injectors.
