Check out this 1965 Chevy C10 🇺🇸🔧

This freshly imported truck came in to Kohl Customs to go through the process of getting it ready for New Zealand roads. That includes compliance, along with LVV certification for the engine and suspension modifications.

A big credit to the owner, who has done a lot of the work himself and has been involved throughout the process. It’s great to be part of the journey and help bring it closer to getting out on the road. 👏

That blue and white combo and timber tray look pretty sharp too! 💙🤍

Another blast from the past.

We assembled this 1962 Dodge Dart around 11 years ago, and it’s now back in the shop for a freshen-up.

The old 273 is coming out and making way for a rebuilt 318.

Always good seeing an old build return to the workshop.

The K Cab transformation.

We started with a low-kilometre 2015 Holden Colorado and body-swapped a Bedford K-series truck over it.

The Colorado chassis, drivetrain, ABS, dash, air conditioning, seats and steering column were retained. Around 60% of the Bedford’s original tin was replaced, and the cab was lengthened 200mm to fit everything inside.

A fair bit of work between the first and last clips.

Another upholstery job finished up at Kohl Customs.

These Holden Torana seats have been retrimmed in black with blue diamond stitching across the front and rear seats.

A clean, simple combination that should look right at home once they’re back in the car.

We had a local Alfa Romeo club visit the shop today.

A great mix of cars and a good bunch of people. Thanks for stopping in and having a look around!

Well, it’s official—we’ve entered three cars into 2027.

There’s still plenty of work to get through between now and February, especially on the ute, but it’s good to have the entries locked in.

Looking forward to getting all three up to Mystery Creek and seeing what the weekend brings.
