Ok......

My attempt to max out a G35-1050 series 1.

Sleeved, o-Ring block, I beam rods, 214-C cams, dual valve springs, Ecumaster black V3 ECU, Injector Dynamics 2600cc injectors, dual 525 fuel pumps etc etc. Fully Built.

Issues I knew we would have before strapping down on the dyno, tires are shot and Evos are FWD bias so holding the front down on the dyno is just as key as the rear if not more important.

Pump gas 93oct 518hp 383tq 30psi max timing 10° at 8k rpms
IDC 38%

E40 633hp 420tq 35psi max timing 14° at 8k rpms
IDC 47%

E55 760whp 510tq 40psi max timing 16°at 8.5k rpms
IDC 58%

E70, 45psi...🤷🏾‍♂️ 3rd spun on the dyno. Ok let's pull 4th.....🤷🏾‍♂️ Same thing

Ok, tires are pretty shot, plenty of tread but have sat for too long (3+ yrs) and are extremely hard plus they aren't 200tw tires. Well let's strap it down tighter see if it helps. I don't have any tracbite at this location so let's see. Why not bump the boost up....49psi......now this is WAAAAAAAYYY up and get close to peaking this turbo if it's not peaked already, so let's taper it down and increase the rev limiter.

As I thought 4th gear spun and the car wheel speed registered 190mph at the end of the run. Not safe, let's back it back down and clean it up.

Ended with a 48psi peak and a taper down to 41psi by 8.8k rpms. This is enough, final numbers I have no clue lol. We'll get some tires on it, I'll figure out a strap bar situation for the dyno and maybe we'll try again. Sent the baddest Evo X in the Carolinas to Tennessee. Now they have the baddest Evo X 😉. As always

Rd 2 didn't go as planned. In a good way.

40psi made 760. 40psi with a taper to 38 made 733. On E55. So we're back at E71. The ending goal is 48-49psi, wherever it lands power wise thats what we're taking.

Problem is, 49psi doesn't give a F about the rollers. In 3rd or 4th gear unfortunately. Just going to have to put some better tires on and have fun with it lol. This pull was to 8800 rpms 49psi, slipped the rollers to much to register power. It said 79whp lol. Couple of methods I could've used to make it work BUT we're done this car is enough. Rollers need to be knurled again, tires on this car need to be better they are no good but hey it is what it is and I'm out of track bite!!

I was in competition with the camber guys about tucking the rear lol

The Goal is 48psi to really max this turbo out. Unfortunately I had to drive some of the E out before going full beans on it and the Charlotte traffic took my joy.

Another VR4 3kgt going Haltech. Had to change some wiring from the factory harness due to some of the original wires being hacked into. We're going to get it fired up and make sure everything is functioning before we button it up in it's new home. Stay tuned cause I have 2 more VR4s that will be running Ecumaster ecus right after this one. As always
