Took a bit to free up the U joint. It moves now but feels like gravel and makes a ton of noise.

PSA: I splurged a bit tonight and put 20 bucks worth of premium in the family van. I swear I can feel the power!

Well, I just recorded an awesome video on a non cranking Kia diagnosis and when I was done I realized I didn't hit record. I think I'll put the phone down and call it a day now.

"Hey hun, don't throw away the clear hose we used for the fish tank, I might need that for something"

I was right. The time is now.

I have a Kia with an axle completely seized in the hub. I've bent a few tools trying to get them to separate. In the end I took the whole knuckle and axle out and brought it to a local shop we work with, with a bigger press.
They are having trouble getting it to come out too.

What I'm really saying is I need some luck today. What better way to bring luck than to wear my lucky "The Godfather" themed socks.

5 minutes after this picture was taken, while putting on my shoes, my shoelace snapped and broke. Apparently the socks don't work.

I'll pray the axle comes free today.

A little diagnostic work on some oxygen sensors, 1st pic is live sensor data before repairs, second picture is data after repairs. You can see the difference and the customer can feel the difference!

Well, that's not supposed to happen!

I've been doing themes this week so here we have showcase Saturday.

Oil changes matter. First picture is of a Ford 3.5l I'm putting back together. It's clean inside, has been maintained and had regular oil changes. Second picture is if another V6 that has been neglected a bit. The difference is amazing.

Side note. I spent a great deal of time this morning looking for a hat I lost. Turns out it was on my head. You can't win them all.
