We took a quick trip up to Superior Quality Rides in Minnesota to put on the finishing touches on the super secret SEMA Corvette. We already showed you the custom made door handles and window cranks and now its time to put them on the car. SEMA is next week and we're excited to see this amazing build debuted! Stay tuned for the videos we got to film for the interior build leading up to this point!

We did a full interior swap on this 1999 OBS Pickup!
We took this interior to the modern age by swapping out the seats with a 2018 interior and put in some modern tech upgrades in the dash as well. Threw in a couple custom options too. We're really happy with how this turned out and shes about ready to go home!

We definitely have a good time putting this content together for you guys 👌🏼
Stay tuned for this video to drop this friday!

Check out this headliner job that were doing...but it's actually now a trunk job too 😅
Client came in for a headliner and is now walking away with a whole new trunk too. Sometimes this is how things go down at the shop. They see what were capable of and motivates them to get other things cleaned up or sorted out in their build. Another happy client in the books!

Another update on the super secret SEMA build!
We've gotten tons of work done on the interior of the car and we cant wait to show you the end result. We pretty much wrapped everything in this gorgeous red leather and the seats turned out amazing. Stay tuned for more!

Unfortunately, we can't show you the super secret SEMA build quite yet...
We literally got informed yesterday that the exterior of the build cannot be revealed until it is at SEMA and debuted in november. We do have some really cool videos coming your about the interior work that was done by the team. Stay tuned for that, but until then, maybe buy some cool stuff we make in house 😏

Unboxing time!

First video of the build is dropping this Friday, stay tuned!

The work that makes a great restoration starts underneath the paint. 🔧

We’re checking in on the 1963 Impala, walking through the sheet metal we’ve replaced and the rust repairs still underway. Getting the metal right now gives the rest of this build a solid foundation.

We also have Bryant from Bryant Built in the shop! Always good to have him stop by and talk cars.

Follow Mapes Restorations as we bring this Impala back, one section at a time.

Planning a complete classic-car build? Send us a message to discuss your project.
