At Cape Performance Sailing in Cape Town, we build the world-class Cape 31 Racing Yacht. With over 80 sold globally.

We are currently designing with Mark Mills and building the Cape 26, which will launch late 2025 and hit foreign shores 2nd quarter 2026.

Building the Cape 26 fleet ⛵

• Hull 01 is out enjoying sublime sailing conditions on Lake Garda.
• Hull 02 is being finished off at the factory - primer is on and being sanded back ahead of the top coat. Guess the colour 👇
• Hull 03 is in the moulds, joined and about to receive internal structure before being released.
• Hull 04 is in for bulkhead prep.

Cape 26 build update 🚨

Work is underway on the tooling for the foils. The plugs for the rudder and keel fin have been machined from tooling board, and we're currently fairing and dimensionally checking all components for accuracy before starting mould production.

Both foils will be manufactured in carbon, with the keel fin produced using a similar process to the Cape 31.
